Tracey Baxter, MS, BC-TMH, P-LPC

PROVISIONALLY-LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

Ms. Tracey Baxter is originally from Washington state, but moved to Vaiden, MS with her family in 2021.  After raising her children to young adults, Tracy felt drawn to pursue a new vocation focused on helping others.  She attended Liberty University where she graduated with honors (Summa Cum Laude), earning a BS in psychology and crisis counseling.  She then went on to complete her graduate training at Liberty University where she earned a Masters of Arts in clinical mental health counselling – graduating with high distinction.

Tracey conducts her clinical practice through a cognitive behavioral (CBT) orientation.  Her therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that our mental and emotional wellbeing is directly impacted by the way we interpret our experiences, and the quality of our relationships.   Tracey describes herself as “a counselor who is Christian, but not a ‘Christian counselor,’” noting that she values and respects the beliefs of all her clients and only offers a Christian perspective when requested in therapy.  Tracey’s passion is to help the men and women she serves to overcome their mental and emotional obstacles, and live more satisfying and fulfilling lives.

Tracey is a provisionally licensed professional counsellor (P-LPC), a Natioanlly Certified Counselor (NCC), and is Board Certified to practice Telemental Health (BC-TMH).

Tracey is excited to be working with LeFleur Behavioral Health and is currently accepting new clients.
