Wanda Harris is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Qualified Supervisor in Mississippi and Louisiana, originally from Natchez, MS, having resided in the Jackson area for 24 years. Dr. Harris received her Bachelor of Science (1992) and Master of Science (1996) degrees from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, and her PhD in Social Psychology from Walden University (2019). Dr. Harris has practiced as a Mental Health Therapist since 1996 in both public and private practice, and she has experience with a variety of client populations from children to elderly adults.

Areas of Focus include Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar/ Mood Disorders, Grief, Trauma, Divorce, Relationship issues, family, marital/premarital therapy, Christian/faith-based Counseling, Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral and Emotion Focused Therapy.

Dr. Harris supervises others seeking licensure, and is also an Ordained Minister and is also a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at Jackson State University.
